Richard Hudgens was a psychiatrist, (born 1931). Hudgens received his medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine in 1956. In 1963 he joined the faculty of the medical school, serving as instructor of Psychiatry (1963-65); assistant professor of Psychiatry (1965-69); associate professor of Psychiatry (1969-74); assistant dean for Curriculum (1967-71); and associate dean for Curriculum (1971-73). Since 1974 Hudgens has been in private practice and served as professor of Clinical Psychiatry for the Washington University School of Medicine.
