Name of creator
William K. Hall (1918-2011) was an assistant professor emeritus of dermatology at Washington University School of Medicine and emeritus staff member of Barnes Hospital. He held degrees from Yale University (1939) and Harvard Medical School (1942), and then joined the U.S. Navy for the next 20 years. When he retired as a captain in the Naval Medical Corps in 1962, Hall set up a private dermatology practice in St. Charles, MO until his retirement in 1982.
