Name of creator
Floreine Garvin Marshall was born in Erie, KS in 1925. She graduated from Washington University School of Nursing in St. Louis in 1947. She was a Cadet Nurse. She practiced nursing in several settings in St. Louis for 20 years. At the age of 55 she earned her graduate degree in psychiatric mental health nursing. She then taught at SIUE and Jewish Hospital College for Nursing for 5 years.
