Biographical history

Michael J. Mueller is professor of physical therapy and of radiology at Washington University School of Medicine. He received his BS in physical therapy from Washington University in 1979. He joined the staff of the Irene Walter Johnson Institute of Rehabilitation n 1981. He received his MHS in physical therapy in 1984 from Washington University in 1984 and became Director of Physical Therapy at the Irene Walter Johnson Institute of Rehabilitation. In 1992 he received his PhD in the Interdisciplinary Program in Movement Science at Washington University. He was director of the Applied Biomechanics Laboratory from 2000 to 2015 and director of the Division of Research from 2003 to 2018.
