Scope and content
In addition to six white uniforms, nurses were given six blue seersucker uniforms, GI (Government Issued) shoes, and black dress shoes. Their uniforms also included a "cape, field cap, navy coat, navy blouse, one suit coat, lighter blue well-fitting skirt [and] two white and two light blue cotton waists worn with men's black tie."
