McDonnell Medical Sciences Building Photographs

This collection consists of 161 photographs and 1 framed document depicting the groundbreaking ceremony for and construction progress on the McDonnell Medical Sciences Building. The collection also includes a few exterior views of the building and courtyard after its completion. The framed document is an electrocardiogram and impedance pneumogram of astronauts James A. McDivitt and Edward H. White, II, taken during the Gemini IV mission in 1965 and presented to Washingon University School of Medicine at the groundbreaking ceremony in 1967.

The majority of the facsimiles were produced in 1976 by Yale University for a portfolio titled, "Medical History in Pictures Series One: 15th and 16th Century Woodcuts of the Human Body."

Early St. Louis Occupational Therapy Photographs

Depicted subjects include patients crafting at Robert Koch Hospital, Barnes, Hospital, and St. Louis City Hospital, as well as exhibits of crafts made by patients and O.T. students.
