A 1934 revision of the laboratory manual for the St. Louis Public Health laboratory. This is Carroll F. Neff's (W.U. 1929) personal copy retyped from the original. According to a letter from Neff to Miss Lawrence, Librarian (in collection files), the manual was used as the text for W.U. Bacteriology 206., which explains the label on the spine of the binder which reads: "W.U. 1934/Neff/Bacteriology 206 Public health diagnosis/Dr. Willett, Mr. Pfau, Mr. Nagle." The 1934 typewritten manual has 116 numbered leaves, appendix and inserted printed matter on the laboratory's history, 1946.
