Baumgarten Reception Photographs
This collection consists of 36 photographs depicting scenes from a St. Louis Medical Society reception honoring the Baumgarten Family on November 2, 1981. The fourth and final memeber of the Baumgarten family to practice medicine in St. Louis was Walter Baumgarten, Jr., who was an honorary curator of the St. Louis Medical Society from 1964 until his death in 1980.

Three carousels of 35mm slides, 2 of which have accompanying narrations on cassette tapes. The two slide trays with tapes are slightly variant versions of a presentation titled "Hospitals: The Cost of Caring." The third slide tray is from a 1979 fundraising campaign for St. Louis Children's Hospital.

This collection consists of 285 35mm slides depicting interior views from the Washington University School of Medicine Library. The slides primarily depict the old library building and Annex, but a small section of the slides are of the newly-built library, now the Bernard Becker Medical Library, taken around its opening in 1989.
Max A. Goldstein Rare Book Collection Donation Photographs
This collection consists of 22 photographs, an event program, and 4 color transparencies related to the Max A. Goldstein Rare Book Collection. The photographs depict scenes from the open house and dedication ceremony for the collection held at the Washington University School of Medicine Library Annex in 1977. The program in this collection is for that event. The four color transparencies depict a display of some of the books from the collection taken in the M. Kenton King center in 2003.

Estelle Brodman, Thomas Jefferson and Medicine Lecture Slides
This collection consists of 23 35mm slides created for a lecture given by Estelle Brodman at the Washington University School of Medicine Library on March 8, 1976. The lecture discussed Thomas Jefferson's contributions to the develpement of American medicine, and especially his connection to medicine in St. Louis. Please see VF00917 for a photocopy of a related article titled "Herb Doctors and Granny-Women," written by Brodman and published in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on June 27, 1976.
