The slides depict silverware, serving dishes, and furniture, likely items that belonged to Cordonnier.
This collection consists of 45 digital surrogates of photographs depicting John E. Kirk and colleagues throughout his career. Subjects include portraits of Kirk in various settings, including his driver's license and a military portrait from his youth in Denmark, as well as photographs of his employees and colleagues at the Chronic Hospital's Division of Gerontology in St. Louis.
This collection consists of 24 photographs primarily depicting scenes from the dedication of the Barnes Hospital West Pavilion on December 12, 1979. The collection also includes an architectural rendering of the pavilion prior to its construction.
Three carousels of 35mm slides, 2 of which have accompanying narrations on cassette tapes. The two slide trays with tapes are slightly variant versions of a presentation titled "Hospitals: The Cost of Caring." The majority of the photographs are scenes from Cowdry's professional travels in China, India, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, and South Africa. The glass lantern slides specifically depict scenes from Cowdry's travels in China.
This collection consists of 29 artifacts from the professional life of Franklin E. Walton (1902-1981), including photographs, a drawing, an academic diploma, an academic hood, and an intaglio print of Barnes Hospital by Gustav Goetsch (1907-1994). Primarily, the subjects depicted in the photographs include portraits of Walton and his colleagues at both Barnes Hospital and the 21st General Hospital, as well as several group portraits of the Wasington University School of Medicine (WUSM) class of 1927 at class reunions.

Artifacts include a key to the city of Vicennes, Indiana, foreign currency collected during Burford's overseas military service during World War II, and a Society of Thoracic Surgery felt badge.

The lecture discussed Thomas Jefferson's contributions to the develpement of American medicine, and especially his connection to medicine in St. Louis.
