This small collection consists of pharmaceutical items from the S. Pfeiffer Manufacturing Company (3965 Laclede Avenue), owned and operated by Adolph Pfeiffer. The material includes three funnels used for filling pill bottles; a wooden herb and powder mixing trough; cast iron cork press; three wooden pill counting shovels; and one roll of Schoenfeld K & L Tea labels.
American Academy of Neurology Records

This small collection includes Jesse Marguerite (Marge) Gowan’s Jewish Hospital nursing uniform, a 1932 class photograph of the Jewish Hospital School of Nursing, and a portrait photograph of Marge Gowan wearing her Jewish Hospital of St. Louis student nursing uniform.
Gowan, Marge
The diary of Olga A. Krieger, consists of approximately 25 typed pages of reminiscences for 1917-1919 in rough chronological order. Krieger was a Red Cross nurse who worked with Base Hospital 21 in Rouen, France during WWI. Three other nurses in her squad are mentioned frequently in the text: Marie Kammeyer, Louise Kenninger, and Cordelia Ranz.
This small collection includes a privately published memoir authored by Yvonne Bost Pickett titled, “Our War: My Life as a Nurse in Hawaii, 1941-1945.”
