Akustik Silver Type CX, ca. 1931

Dark brown in color, one microphone, earphone, and two battery cases. One battery case has plugs to allow the microphone to be placed on a table; the other battery case can be used in a pocket. The microphone has a key on the back for a 5 step loudness adjustment and the earphone it fit with a nipple insert. Original box and instructions. Manufactured for 25th anniversary of Deutsch Akustic.

Toshiba Model THA-1001, 1961

Silver metal body aid, with black plastic insert with brushed metal in the corners and middle section, triangular microphone opening on front, four transistors with 2 batteries, standard earphone and super-sensitive Danish earphone. Includes three rubber tips of different size to be placed on the receiver for insertion in the ear canal. List price was $34.95 and marketed by Radio Shack.

Maico model F (Quiet Ear), 1949

Body aid, gold metal upper and back portion with a clear plastic cover over grey plastic on the bottom front. "MAICO" on front with design. Two dials on top, two gold clips on each side of aid, cord in box and box in mint condition. Entire back opens from the top to change batteries. Serial number 10949. Model identified from Berger inventory. Original box included.

Politzer's Acoumeter

Silver acoumeter within small black box lined in blue silk and velvet. Silver clasp in front. The instrument consists of a calibrated short, round steel bar, set at right angles to a vulcanite upright with cup-shaped terminals for thumb and second finger. A small steel hammer, pivoted in the vulcanite upright, is made to fall by its own weight on the steel bar from a constant height.
