There are handwritten labels on the front and back of the photograph. Note on the back of the photograph reads: "This was my class of occupational therapy students at University of Kansas Hospital, Kansas City, Kansas. Phyllis McCormick was my assistant and a wonderful friend. I was the first O.T. who started the occupational therapy school at University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas. I lectured to students two days a week, going to Lawrence with Dean Wahl who taught anatomy later second year. Barbera Loweth took over the class at Lawrence & I had the students in training at K.UH Kansas City, Kansas."
Included with the cover is a typed, 15-page history and description of the Occupational Therapy Branch, Convalescent Training Division, Wakeman General Hospital. The history was written by Burton L. Hirsch, 2nd Lt., MAC, Assitant Chief of Occupational Therapy. VC295002-VC295139 were originally bound in this album.
