This small collection includes manuscripts and research materials (primarily in German) for two unpublished articles titled: “Die Aerzteheiligen Kosmas und Damian; ihre Wunderheilungen in Licht alter and neuer Medicin” and "Ueber Skelettdarstellungen aus der Antike und ihre Bedeutung fuer die Medizinsgeschichte."

With the editorial assistance of Washington University’s former director of the medical library Estelle Brodman, the article on St. Cosmas and St. Damian (patron saints of physicians, surgeons, and pharmacists) was published by the _Medizin Historische Journal_in 1974 (Volume 9, pages 255-317). The second paper is on the subject of illustrations of skeletons in antiquity.

The materials for both papers include photographs and other graphic materials for the plates, letters concerning the plates, notes, and draft manuscripts.
