Painting depicting an exterior view of the Beaumont residence, Locust and Beaumont street, St. Louis, Missouri.

Handwritten note on the back of the photograph reads: "Photographic copy of the residence of Doctor William Beaumont taken from an old oil painting about 25 x 36 inches in the posession of Mr. Edward Eliot. This residence was situated on Locust street, north side, east of Beaumont street in small grove of trees. This property as well as I can remember extended along north side of Locust St. from Beaumont St. east about 400 ft. As a boy in the seventies, I and my companions often played there. I remember it very distinctly. Louis C. Boisliniere, Coronado Hotel."
