Reprints, 1979-1981, of ten scientific articles authored or co-authored by Dabeeru C. Rao, Ph. D. who is on the faculty and directs the Division of Biostatistics until December 2019.

Reprints of 54 scientific papers of Fischbach published between 1969 and 1983. Fischbach's research has centered on the formation and maintenance of synapses, the junctions between nerve cells and their targets through which information is transferred, and specifically the neuromuscular junction.

The collection contains Ruth Silberberg’s records of her collaborative research with her husband, Martin Silberberg, on skeletal aging and growth, and the study of osteoarthritis. It also contains Ruth Silberberg’s work on the relation of diabetes and joint disease after Martin’s death in 1966. The two series include reprints of scientific articles authored or co-authored by Ruth Silberberg, 1961-1976, and her photomicrographs, 1959-[1975]. After the Silberbergs received training in electron microscopy in 1959, the electron micrographs became an important tool in Ruth and Martin’s joint research and important illustrations for their publications of the period.

The Lee Robins Papers consist of twelve organizational series on Lee Robins' research and her family.  The research studies (Series 1) and Interview schedules (Series 2) are the most noteworthy materials and the bulk of the collection.   Also included are family and professional photographs (Series 5), a full set of journal articles (Series 3), and her correspondence (Series 6-8) and manuscripts (Series 4) from her retirement.  Noteworthy in the biographical series (Series 9-10) are the SCRD oral history interviews with Lee Robins (also online) and typed interviews for a biography of Eli Robins.

Includes correspondence, publications, and other documents of the Human Genome Center (1987-) and currently also documentation from Schlessinger's personal files at WUSM (1962-1997). 43 linear ft.

Bound volumes of the collected scientific publications of W. Maxwell Cowan. Most deal with neurology and the neurosciences, specifically neuroanatomy and neurobiology.

Accession 2017-037: William M. Landau Papers (FC119): 8 record cartons and 5 oversized framed items. Box 1-2, personal and professional correspondence, circa 1980-2010, Box 3, framed items, videos and audio recordings of lectures, Boxes 4-8 scientific equipment from Landau's and George Bishop's laboratories.

This small collection includes a few transcripts of speeches given by Dr. Landau at various meetings, reprints, and documentation regarding Dr. Landau’s role in PNHP in Missouri (Physicians for a National Health Program).  See also oral history numbers OH090 and OH107 for Dr. Landau's oral histories.

Reprints of 99 scientific articles authored or co-authored by Goldring, in a bound volume titled "Publications of Sidney Goldring, M.D." Subjects include epilepsy, surgical treatment of epilepsy, seizure disorders, and neuroglia.

Scrapbooks compiled originally by the WUSM Public Relations Office include clippings, brochures, and reprinted articles mainly from St. Louis newspapers and campus sources. These materials describe a wide range of activities of faculty, staff and their departments and divisions. The WUSM Public Relations Office was an earlier incarnation of Medical Public Affairs.

Reprints, abstracts, research notes covering Burch's work in the fields of nutrition and metabolism. Correspondence files are arranged chronologically.

Butcher's files document his career and those of his colleagues such as Evarts A. Graham, Peter Heinbecker, Carl Moyer and Eugene M. Bricker. Included are correspondence and clippings about the Washington University School of Medicine, its Department of Surgery, and Barnes Hospital, as well as journal reprints and the texts of several lectures delivered by Butcher.
