Cady recounts some of the history of the 21st General Hospital and its service during World War II in Africa, Italy and France.

This interview covers material which already exists in book form in the Washington University School of Medicine Archives. Because of the poor quality of the tape from which the interview was transcribed, this version is probably not be the best source for information on Dr. Cady’s service as commanding officer of the 21st General Hospital. Andrew B. Jones Oral History

In his oral history interview, Jones discusses some of his experiences as a medical officer during World War I. He also recalls some of the changes he witnessed over the years in the field of neurology and at the Washington University School of Medicine. Jones recalls some of his colleagues, such as Vilray P. Blair, George Dock, Ernest Sachs, and Sidney Schwab.

He speaks about some of his professors and colleagues, including Evarts A. Graham, Ernest Sachs, and Lee D. Cady, and some of his experiences at the Jewish Hospital of St. Louis.
