This collection consists of a disbound souvenir booklet produced by Anheuser-Busch that features 16 lithographs of views from St. Louis and the Anheuser-Busch Brewing Association.

9 prints in total.  5 prints are from John James Audubon’s Birds of North America : pl.20 Great-Footed Hawk; pl.36 Stanley Hawk; and pl.283 Wandering Shearwater are double elephant folio prints from hand-colored aquatint engravings; pl.1 Wild Turkey Male; and pl.61 Great Horned Owl are double elephant folios from offset lithographs.  4 prints are from Audubon’s Viviparous Quadrupeds of North America : pl.83 Little Chief Hare; pl.107 Lewis’ Marmot; pl. 123 The Sewellel; and pl.145 Townsend Shrew are imperial folio prints of original hand-colored lithographs.

These portraits were published as art supplements to the German Medical Weekly, and gathered to create the Bildersammlung aus der Geschichte der Medizin, or the Picture Collection from the History of Medicine.

William Beaumont Photographs and Artifacts

This collection consists of 327 photographs and artifacts related to William Beaumont. The majority of the photographs depict scenes from annual pilgrimages to Beaumont's grave conducted by the St. Louis Medical Society and related organizations. Other depicted subjects include views of sites where William Beaumont was born, lived, and worked, views of the site where Alexis St. Martin was accidentally shot, and several copy negatives of letters and certificates related to Beaumont. Artifacts in the collection include two XIII International Physiological Congress medallions featuring the profile of William Beaumont, and a miniature painted plaster bust of Beaumont.

This collection consists of 21 photographs bound in a scrapbook made for Anne Lehmann, who had made a financial donation that went toward the surgical floor of Washington University School of Medicine's Clinical Sciences Research Building. The photographs include scenes from the dedication of the building, interior and exterior views of the building, and close-ups of dedication plaques.
